Are you available for our date?

1We try to compliment all of our clients. We have a team of 4 wedding photographers to cover either our 1 Wedding photographer or 2 Wedding photographers packages.

The best way to find out is to email or call us directly to see if we are available for your day. Then the next step is to schedule an appointment to interview us in person.

Keep in mind that if you’re interviewing other potential photographers we don’t guarantee that we’ll be available if you don’t get back to us soonest, another client can interview us and book us on the same day you’re getting married.

To make it fair for all of our clients, who ever leaves a deposit and signs our formalized contract is guaranteed that we are booked but we offer 2 other wedding photographers that may be available for your day.

Can guests take pictures?

2This is a very common question in the Los Angeles areas. Yes your guests can always take pictures. What we do ask for is that guests are not interrupting our job where we may an important shot. Many times guests like to stand right next to us to capture the exact same shot. We need to be able to move around freely and we do ask guests politely to move a distance and many to understand. As your wedding photographer, we take our job very serious and professionally. We will ask guests politely if they need to move or not to be too close to use because their flash, for example, may cause a blow out in your photo.

We do ask ahead of time if you have another wedding photographer or a regular photographer taking pictures as well so we are prepared to work in an organized manner where we’re not interrupted and able to catch the photos that you paid us for.

Can I get black & white or sepia photos?

3Yes, you can get both black & white and sepia photos in addition to the color photos that you already will be receiving. As your wedding photographers we give you the variety that you prefer. The majority will be in color yet those photos can be converted into your preference to black & white and sepia.

Our wedding gallery has the ability to view your photos into black & white and sepia as a viewing. There is a special icon per photo where you can convert the photo in the different color formats. All wedding photographers should have a gallery to give this viewing flexibility for their clients.

Can I give you samples like wedding magazine clippings?

4Yes, please give us all the samples you wish to send us. Wedding photography has not limit, it should be open to all possible styles and be open for any new spontaneous ideas that a client can present.

Seeing these magazine clippings gives us more of an idea in what style you would like. We do our upmost to capture the exact same poses or concept. We try to copy similar poses from your samples or make the photo concept a lot more creative.

Can I hire just one wedding photographer?

5Yes, you can hire just one photographer but we really don’t encourage that to our clients. Why hire just one photographer when you can have 2 at an affordable price and have more photos to choose from. More is captured especially when in comes to having a variety different artistic angles and expressions.

The price is really not that much of a big difference when you hire just one wedding photographer. The difference in cost can be up to $200-$300.

Do we get to meet our wedding photographer before?

6Yes, you do get to meet your wedding photographer before hand. You first contact us to make an appointment by email or phone and we then arrange a location either at our office or in the Los Angeles area or wherever you live by to meet in person. You will likely meet with 2 of us from our team.

During this meeting you get to ask all the questions you wish to see if the photographer you interview is truly a perfect fit. We will show you our albums and we’ll talk about our experiences in weddings. You will get to see first hand our personalities in how we interact with our clients.

You will find that we’re professional, fun and very easy going. We give our upmost in customer service.

Do you accept credit cards?

7Yes we do accept all major credit cards VISA, AMEX and Mastercard.

As your wedding photographer, we give you the flexibility to pay their deposit and remaining balance by the following payment options:

– Credit Card
– Debit Card
– Check
– Money Order

This will guarantee your booking for your photographer. We’ve seen that offering different payment options helps our clients pay for their wedding expenses.

Do you also offer videographer services?

8We don’t offer videographer services under our packages but we do highly recommend vendors to help out our clients.

Many think that with our full frame camera we can take both photos and video at the same time. It can only do one job at a time. If you hire a wedding photographer they will only do photos not both photos and video at the same time.

Do you provide a Wedding Gallery?

10Yes, we do offer a wedding gallery for all of our clients. Most wedding photographers should offer this on all packages.

After your wedding photographers finish editing your photos they then number the photos according to the order the photos were taken by the events occurring throughout the day. Once ready then they’re uploaded into your personal gallery that can be password protective or open to the public.

Your gallery is available for 1 year where you will have plenty of time to choose your portraits or prints for your album as well as have your friends and family enjoy viewing your photos during that period of time.

Do you shoot in RAW or in JPG?

11The rule of wedding photography is shooting in RAW. That being said, yes we do shoot in RAW then we convert the file into JPG once it’s fully edited. To capture the best quality of a photo and have the ability to fully edit a photo with all the processed data is shooting in RAW. Shooting in JPG looses a lot of data and cannot be fully manipulated.

How do I book your wedding photography services?

We will then schedule an appointment where we go over all of your wedding photography questions and book your date by signing a formalized contract and receiving a deposit. That will guarantee your booking.

Clients who may live in the Los Angeles county area, you can meet us at your office in the San Fernando Valley or we can meet you at your home or at a local coffee shop in Los Angeles area or surrounding areas.

How far ahead do I book my wedding photographer?

13The sooner the better is the best advice we give any potential client. A wedding photographer in Los Angeles can be booked 6 months to 1 year in advance in the most popular seasons – Spring, Summer and Fall.

Planning your special day takes a lot of time, work and effort to have everything flow perfectly. Don’t wait to the last minute (2 – 3 months before your event) to book just any wedding photographer who is available. You may book someone that you didn’t really like but had no choice and booked an average photographer. Plan ahead and take the time to research and interview all your potential vendors.

How far will you travel for a wedding?

15There is not limit to how far we can travel. We have done weddings as far as:

– Costa Rica
– New York
– Chicago
– Soon to be doing a wedding in Dominican Republic
– Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, San Fernando Valley, San Diego

As your wedding photographer we are open to travel by car, train or plane anywhere!

You will then ask how much will the additional cost be, its very simple – You will pay for your regular photography package + the following expenses for your photographer:

– Plane ticket – If we need to fly to another state/country we do ask that you pay for our travel.
– Hotel – You would only need to pay for one night stay at a hotel.
– Car expense – If we need to drive farther than Los Angeles country we do ask to help us pay for the gas expense.
– That is all!

As your photographer we do our upmost to help our clients save as much money possible. If we get the opportunity to travel to another state or country we take it as a great opportunity to venture out and even consider to help our client with cost, if prices are reasonable.

How long does it take to receive my photos?

16On an average we give our clients their photos in 1 month or less.

Because you have 2 wedding photographers it’s normally faster to edit your photos and combine them to make a nice story line under your gallery. Your wedding photographers will do their best to have a fast turn around time.

If we have back-to-back weddings, every weekend, it will take up to 1 month. We don’t like to rush when we edit. It takes time to review every photo and perfect it.

How many photos do I get?

17If you book us for a 6hr or 8hr package you will get 2 photographers which means you get more variety and more photos.

– 4hr package with 1 photographer – Estimate up to 500 photos
– 6hr package with 2 wedding photographers – Estimate up to 700 photos
– 8hr package with 2 wedding photographers – Estimate up to 1000 photos

How much coverage do I need?

18This is a common question when we meet with our clients. As your wedding photographers, we take the time to go over your photo schedule minute by minute. We review this together and determine how much coverage is truly needed, whether it’s the 6hr, 8hr or need extra coverage. Every wedding is different. That is our responsibility as your wedding photographers to help you determine the right package.

With our years of experience we give our clients the best advice in how much time is needed for the major events that will occur on your special day for example:
– Pre Bridal
– Ceremony
– Congrats
– Formal Portraits
– Reception

How much editing is involved?

19We make sure that you get the best out of your photos. We review each photo carefully to be sure it’s presentable for your album or portrait at home. Wedding photography is art and we take pride to do our upmost to capture the best photos and edit as necessary to satisfy our client’s expectations.

From our photography experience we edit, if necessary, the following:

– Cropping
– Enhancing color
– Changing a photo in black & white or Sepia
– Lighting the photo as needed
– Removing any spots, blemishes or unnecessary objects
Additional editing can be consulted with us to determine how much extra is charged to enhance your wedding photos.

How much is it if I want all of my original wedding photos?

20Here is the beauty about your originals that we offer you as your wedding photographer, its FREE!!!

We don’t you extra for your originals. It’s already a part of your wedding photography package at no extra cost! The average wedding photographer in the greater Los Angeles area charge minimum of $500 for the original with copyrights. We give you your originals with copyrights for FREE. This is the unique part that is offered under our packages that our clients love and you will find that no other photographer truly offers this.

How much is the deposit to hire you as my wedding photographer?

21We ask for a $300 deposit to all of our clients. It’s reasonable to help you save up the remaining balance. This deposit is non refundable.

Your deposit can be paid:
– Check
– Cash
– Credit Card

Your deposit has to be paid the same day you sign the contract to guarantee your booking. We cannot take a verbal booking over the phone until you sign our formalized contract. It’s a first come first serve basis. A client has the right to interview another wedding photographer to be sure they’re satisfied with their choice.

What Am I Investing in my Wedding Photography Package?

24We offer 3 different Wedding Photography Packages that consist of 4hr, 6hr or 8hr of photography coverage and each package has:

– 1 or 2 photographers
– Unlimited Location Coverage
– Between 500-1000 photos that are taken depending on what package you book.
– Online Hosting – A gallery that will hold your photos for 1 year. You can share this with family and friends.
– CD – All of your original photos in High Res with copy rights
– Prints: 12×18 / 11×14 / 8×10 / 5×7 / 4×6. Each package is different in how many prints you will receive
– Wedding Photography Schedule Consultation: After booking us, we go over minute by minute what your photography schedule will cover that consist of pre-bridal / ceremony / formal portraits / reception.

We ask clients to shop around and you will that we offer the best in wedding photography when it comes to:

What if the weather is bad?

25No one can control the weather even do the forecast tells you that there is no chance of rain or strong winds. That is the challenge in wedding photography to deal with unforeseen weather, yet we keep a positive attitude for our client.

In our experience in wedding photography we prepare ourselves and our clients to have a “Plan B” in case if we get bad weather on the day of your wedding. For example, if by the week of your event we see that it will rain then we advice our client to take umbrellas and choose a location indoors to take their formal photos. In advance we can call the location/venue where your formal photos will bee taken and see if they can accommodate us to have photos taken away from the rain etc. We also assist our client to look for an indoor location in the Los Angeles surroundings areas like a formal Hotel.

What is the first look?

27The first is when the bride and groom see each other for the first time before the ceremony. The couple arranges with their wedding photographer a time and place where they capture the expressions when the bride and groom see each-other for the first time.

This happens when the schedule doesn’t allow much time after the ceremony to have your formal portraits taken because it may be that right after is the reception and so the couple arranges for their formal portraits to be taken before. It’s a wedding photography style that is the opposite of an elegant atmosphere where the bride is comfortable to trash, another-wards, get her dress dirty to capture unique and out of the box photos.

This photo session is done days, weeks, months after the actual wedding day where a bride allows her dress to get dirty or wet, for example, at a beach where she is posing, running, splashing in the water. This is the most wedding popular photo session in Los Angeles.

From experience we’ve seen photographers wear jeans, t-shirt with sneakers which make them look tacky / unprofessional / disrespecting the formality of a wedding. We have been complimented in our attire by looking and working very professionally.

As your wedding photographers we consult this with you to ask you if you prefer us to wear specific colors. The only exception where we might not wear black attire is in the summer. To keep cool throughout a hot day we normally wear light color formal attire. Again we consult this with our client to be sure they’re ok with that.

What type of equipment do you use?

30Each wedding photographer has their own professional equipment and back up equipment for any unforeseen circumstances.

Each wedding photographer carries:
– Full frame camera worth $3,000
– 2-3 professional lenses
– Professional Flash
– Battery pack
– Either Canon or Nikon equipment. The best brands.

This is a very important question to ask your photographer. So many people can say that they’re a “professional wedding photographer” but have a simple camera that can be used for average photos that costs less than $500. Having a full frame camera is key.

When is the remaining balance due?

31Per our contract we require for the remaining balance be paid in full 2 weeks before your event. We give you the flexibility to make payments but as long as its fully paid 2 weeks before the wedding. This secures for your photographer to be present on your wedding day.

If you need your photographer to stay longer you can pay the extra hours cost on the same day of wedding or we can send you an invoice for the extra hours and you pay that balance within 3-4 weeks.

Where should we have our formal wedding photos taken?

32There are so many possible locations where a couple can have their formal portraits taken. This is where we sit down with our client and help to give them suggestions in the possible locations depending where their event will take place.

There are so many beautiful parks with fountains, buildings and gardens where it may be free to take photos but most do require a permit. With our years of wedding photography experience we let the client know the best locations and our client visits these locations and finds about distance between locations and cost in permits. This has to be done ahead of time. Los Angeles, for example, offers so many beautiful locations that have parks, gardens, beaches, artistic buildings etc., it truly depends on what the client is looking for in what is in their budget to possibly purchase a permit for the day. The #1 thing to ask for is if it’s open to the public or if they offer wedding photography permits.

Who Chooses Prints?

33Many have the interpretation that the average wedding photographer in Los Angles chooses the clients prints when in fact it’s the client who chooses their very own photos.

As your wedding photographer we do our upmost to give you the best photos and as much variety to choose from for your prints. We can give you suggestions but ultimately the client has the right to choose their own prints.

Another great advantage you have under your package is that we give our clients a CD with copyrights to print as many photos they wish for family and friends.
