How far in advance do we need to have our engagement photos done?

We recommend clients to have their engagement photos done at least 2-3 months before the wedding. Many of the times we’ve seen that clients have these photos done sooner than that for these photos are used for the save the date invitation which may require at least 4-6 months in advance.
